Or, maybe you’re just trying to figure out how to make extra money.
Chances are you already raided your piggy bank, turned in all your loose change, and sold your CDs and DVDs, right?
In this tough economy, making ends meet and figuring out how to make extra money has become a little more difficult.
The key is finding a few odd jobs.
Keep in mind, odd jobs may not pay as well as you’re used to, but they can make the difference when it comes to keeping the power on and having enough money for groceries.
Here are 4 odd jobs that are simple. And the best part: just about anyone can do these things. The 2 that I think are the best:
- Housesitting. There is a bigger need for this during the holidays when people are going away to visit their relatives and friends in other cities. You could also pay attention to the comings and goings of your friends and neighbors. If they travel a lot, offer to house sit for them!
- Babysitting. If you haven’t done babysitting before (other than for friends and relatives), then you may not realize that babysitting can command up to $36 an hour, depending on your experience. Being trained in child CPR and having the card to prove it helps too!
